The Roborock Qrevo Curv is among the finest dual-purpose robot vacuum and mop combos. Having housed as much as 18,500 Pa suction capability, it brings forth a bold new dock design, which seems to be a masterpiece besides being useful around the home. Apart from its unbelievable looks and effective cleaning abilities, Roborock had to fill it up with some features that were all fun extras.
One such often-overseen is the ability to make a video call. The feature, more like “remote viewing” in the official term, is in fact the same as what is termed video calling. Of course, the position doesn’t lend itself too favorably to family chats, but it’s really quite good for checking back on the pets.
There is actually a little setting you can toggle that will let the Qrevo Curv zoom around your house looking for your furry friend, making sure the little rascal hasn’t broken into your pantry or is (yet again) digging through your houseplants. Want to try it out? Here’s how to make a video call on the Roborock Qrevo Curv.

How to make a video call on the Roborock Qrevo Curv
Activating a video call is easy after you finish the initial installation and home mapping.
Step 1: Open the Roborock application on your mobile device.
Step 2: Select your Qrevo Curv and hit Enter.
Step 3: Select the ellipsis icon from the top right of your screen.
Step 4: Enter the Remote Viewing menu.
Step 5: Here, you can enable Remote Viewing; on your first attempt to activate it, you will be prompted to press the physical Power button on your Qrevo Curv, which will require being near the robot to use.
Step 6: You will be required to create a lock pattern that must be entered before anyone can access Remote Viewing.
Step 7: After you complete those two things, Remote Viewing will be ready to roll.
Step 8: Navigate back to the home map and select the camera icon on the right side of the screen. This will initiate a Remote Viewing session (after entering your lock pattern).
Remote Viewing has a number of pretty cool uses in your home, one of the best and most straightforward methods is using the buttons on the screen to manually rotate and move the robot. One could also press the Cruise button for the robot to roam your house automatically, or press Search for the Pet to have it search around until it locates that furry buddy. You could also do Pin n Go, which is dropping a pin on your map to make the robot go there directly.
